Highway merge

Oklahoma interstates and turnpikes are fast. A timid 40 mph merge is as dangerous as a reckless one.

1. 1Ramp is for speeding upCheck mirrors early. Signal. Build to highway speed.
2. 2Find a gapGlance over the shoulder. Aim for a space, not a specific bumper.
3. 3One smooth blendDo not stop at the end of the ramp. If you must, it is a last resort.
4. 4Settle rightKeep right except to pass. If you miss the exit, take the next one.
